Let’s Get Started
Free In-Home Visit
We begin with a complimentary meeting to get to know you and introduce Suzi Home Maker. This meeting typically lasts one to two hours so that we can walk through your home, explain our services, and determine how we can best work together.
Concierge Moving Support
You may need help beyond just the move, and we are here to help in any and every way. Maybe you need window treatments to fit the new home, additional tech support to set up computers, help to transfer utilities, or a handyman to install bookcases. If we don’t do it ourselves – we know someone who can.
Interior Design
We will create a custom floor plan to ensure your furniture fits comfortably into your new home. You may need help choosing the perfect paint color or a personal shopper to find a few perfect new pieces. We can even help you furnish your new space entirely from scratch.
Sorting , Organizing & Downsizing
One of the most overwhelming parts of a move is sorting through a lifetime of memories and accumulated possessions. We will help you, and your family, make what are often difficult decisions as you “right-size” into your new space. If you are choosing to stay in your current home, you may need help making it comfortable and safe – we can help!
Move Management
Suzi Home Maker works with several vetted movers who specialize in custom services. We will find the right moving company for you, manage them on your behalf through the entire process, and be on call every step of the way to ensure that that your move go according to plan.of the most overwhelming parts of a move is sorting through a lifetime of memories and accumulated possessions. Home Clear Out
Our team will also manage the dispersal of what you can’t take with you. We make sure items you no longer want are given a second life with people who can use and enjoy them! Working with our local partners, we will ship items to family or friends, and sell, donate, or dispose of what’s left. Leave these time-consuming details to us so you can relax and start enjoying life in your new home!
Packing
Our trained team will carefully and professionally pack your belongings so they arrive safe and sound. We provide all our own packing materials and supplies
Unpacking & Organizing
We focus on all the small details that will make you feel completely settled in your new home. From organizing kitchen cabinets, cupboards and closets, to hanging art, setting up your bathroom, and even making the bed. When we are done, your new home will be move-in ready.
Estate Clearing
When a loved one has passed away, the time-consuming task of sorting through and clearing their home can seem to be an emotional and logistical nightmare. Preparation for an estate sale, content removal, or real estate sale requires a customized and comprehensive plan. We offer support throughout the process, including the distribution of unwanted items to local charities.
Home Modification
Our team can analyze and design a safe and comfortable environment if you have chosen to remain in your home. This may include reorganizing, decluttering, or installing new equipment to make your home a secure and relaxed space for you to continue to live independently in your current space.
